Remember s’smores? Yeah me neither. But apparently they’re a big thing. Considering it’s 4th of July I thought why not make S’mores into a pie for an optimal chocolate delivery system. Say hello to the S’mores pie.
2 packets of shredded wheat biscuits(closest to Graham crackers).
250gm butter (yes)
400g dark chocolate
fluff(it’s spreadable marshmallow in a jar.
1. Crush the biscuits into a powder and work in the butter to form a crumb. Add a little cold water to bring it together and build a base in a lined pied dish. You will end up with some leftover crumb for next time. Refrigerate the case overnight.
2. In a double boiler melt the chocolate and then add the milk and eggs. Whisk well.
3. Add the chocolate mix to the tart shell and bake at 160 for 35 minutes.
4. Allow the pie to cool and then spread over the fluff. Torch with a blow torch to make it look cool.
